Haunt

2012

In this dark and dreamlike short film, a woman is disturbed by an image within a contemporary modern dwelling. As the protagonist contemplates a wall of hanging artwork, she comes across a photograph, which triggers a sense of nostalgia and fear. Inspired by the essays of Anthony Vidler (The Architectural UncannyWarped Space), Haunt attempts to explore spatial estrangement and anxiety within the physical and psychological conditions of modern life.
